Editorial Policy
We separate what a document says from what a market did. A filing, a results statement, an exchange notice or a policy statement is the primary source, and we name it. Where a figure is company prepared rather than statutory, we say so and we look for the reconciliation.
We do not publish investment advice, price targets, forecasts, betting odds, tips or predictions. We do not describe a price move as caused by a data release unless the causal claim is supported rather than merely plausible. We describe companies generically or as neutral background and we do not make claims about the conduct or intentions of named individuals.
