Players Movement: Lakers players share their experiences with team-bonding in Slovenia

Kevon Looney believes the new-look Lakers roster will benefit from the team-bonding experience of spending time with Luka Doncic in Slovenia. Looney, who signed a one-year, veteran's minimum contract with L.A. In July, had a unique experience in his long NBA career, as he spent time with Doncic in his home country.

According to Looney, Doncic's hospitality was impressive, and he got to see his personal life off the court. Looney said Doncic is a great player and a great leader, and he likes to show what he can do on the court. Looney also mentioned that Doncic wants to win and wants people to know his background.

Team Bonding Experience

The team-bonding experience in Slovenia was not only beneficial for Looney but also for other players, including Sandro Mamukelashvili. Mamukelashvili, who reached a four-year deal with L.A. In free agency this summer, was impressed by Doncic's hospitality and the great places they were shown in Ljubljana. He said it was great for the new team, as they were all together and it didn't feel like there were a lot of new guys.

Player Improvements

Bronny James, who is playing without his father as a teammate for the first time in his NBA career, talked about what he's worked to improve on during the offseason. James said he's trying to get better all across the board and is working on being able to knock down shots and create for others. He also mentioned that he can be a secondary ballhandler to Luka and Austin Reaves and generate offense in catch-and-shoot and pick-and-roll situations.

Player Profiles

In an interview posted to the Lakers' Instagram account, Doncic was asked to provide one-word answers to a variety of questions. He chose "patience" as his biggest strength on the court and jokingly called Reaves "annoying". Doncic also described the team as "happy". According to HoopsRumors, Doncic's character and leadership are key factors in the team's dynamics.

Offseason Preparations

As the Lakers prepare for the new season, players are focusing on improving their skills and building team chemistry. With the help of Doncic's hospitality and leadership, the team is looking forward to a successful season. The Lakers' roster, including Looney, Mamukelashvili, James, and Doncic, is ready to take on the challenges of the new season.
