Portland Signs South Korean 'Ace' Lee to Camp Deal
The Portland Trail Blazers signed forward Hyunjung Lee to an Exhibit 10 contract. Other offseason notes include Collin Sexton discussing his Lakers move, Anthony Edwards' favorite arenas, and Charles Barkley's latest retirement claim.

The Portland Trail Blazers are signing South Korean forward Hyunjung Lee to an Exhibit 10 training camp contract, according to multiple reports from Korea confirmed by Sean Highkin of The Rose Garden Report. The 6'7" player, nicknamed the 'Ace of South Korea,' is expected to spend much of the upcoming season with Portland's G League affiliate, the Rip City Remix.
Lee played for Portland at Summer League in 2024 and spent last season in Japan's B League. He returned to Summer League this year with the San Antonio Spurs, averaging 8.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game across eight contests in the California Classic and Las Vegas. After a slow start, he scored 22 points against Utah near the event's end. With a smooth jump shot and three-point range, Lee is pursuing his NBA dream through the G League path.
Collin Sexton on Joining the Lakers
New Los Angeles Lakers guard Collin Sexton explained his free agency decision during an appearance on ESPN LA Radio. He acknowledged he will come off the bench but cited the opportunity to win on a big stage as his primary reason for joining the team. Sexton said his role will involve sparking the second unit's offense for a team intending to play fast.
"I would say just opportunity to win, being on a big stage and being in the situation where I can try to come in and impact winning," Sexton said. He also discussed a team-building trip to Slovenia organized and funded by Luka Doncic this summer, calling it a sign of Doncic's leadership.
Anthony Edwards' Favorite Arenas
In a behind-the-scenes video filmed with Formula 1 driver Kimi Antonelli, Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards listed his favorite buildings to play in. He named Madison Square Garden, TD Garden in Boston, and home courts in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, and Atlanta as his top choices.
Edwards specifically highlighted the challenge of playing in New York and Boston. "It's hard to play in Madison Square Garden too. Great place. It's hard to play there. You got to be ready for that. Boston is the same way New York is," he said.
Charles Barkley's Latest Retirement Claim
On 'The Bill Simmons Podcast,' analyst Charles Barkley stated the upcoming season of 'Inside the NBA' would be his last, alongside host Ernie Johnson. Barkley claimed that when the show moved from TNT to ESPN last year, Johnson asked him to stay for two more seasons, which he agreed to do.
"I said: 'I love you, man. You're the best. I'll stay.' So right now, unless Ernie changes his mind, next year is my last year, 100%," Barkley said. The source notes this is a recurring claim from Barkley and advises taking it 'with a grain of salt.'
The report frames these updates as minor news during a quiet period of the 2026 NBA offseason, following the conclusion of the LA Clippers' salary cap investigation.
